Frequently asked questions.

Question : How do I get into a team?

Answer: Over the last 3 years we have created an Academy programme for kids as young as 3 to join our Club. This is the best route into one of our 30 plus teams. At the open trials in May 2009 84% of all new players selected by the team managers came through our Academy Development programme. See Home page for details. Coaching staff at the Academy are all current team managers.

Question : Can I just turn up and train with a team?

Answer: No. All players who train or play for the Club must be registered to the Club to comply with our Insurance. We take this matter very seriously.

Question: What day do the teams play on?

Answer: C & I League Friday and occasional Monday evenings, Harrow League Sunday usually am, Regents Park League play Saturdays and Home Counties Girls League Saturday mornings for U10 & U11 and Sunday morning for all other age bandings.

Question: What days do the teams train on?

Answer: This is only decided late in the summer when we receive our scheduled slots from the various venues we hire for training sessions. Until that time we cannot be certain, It usually revolves around the most suitable day for the majority of the team and the availabilty of their coach provided the venue is available

Question: What do I receive in the way of kit and is there a charge?

Answer: All players receive a team kit ( brand new design for 2009/10) a Black training kit and a team Track Suit, plus a personal ball which must be taken to training, The cycle for kit is 2 years and any lost, damaged, outgrown kit must be replaced/purchased through the Club during this 2 year period. We do not accept players in kit other than official HFC kit for training or matches. There is no additioanl charge for kit other than above replacement.

Question: How much are the fees and when are they due?

Answer: The annual fees for 2009/10 are £225. We do not operate a payment scheme or plan and coaching staff do not collect fees. Fees are due by 10th June each year.
